Dora: Grand Final Preview 🇭🇷

Tick Tock… the time has come for Croatia to decide Albina’s successor and ultimate representative for Turin. 14 competing acts will take to the stage at the Marino Cvetković Sports Hall in Opatija, all with the hope of taking home the coveted Dora trophy. Croatia has struggled in recent years and will hope that tonight’s winner will lead them back to their first grand final in five years.

Albina – Dora 2021 Winner with “Tick Tock” – Dario Njavro / HRT

Mila Elegović – Ljubav

Mila Elegović is a well-known theatre star and actress she will compete at Dora 2022 with “Ljubav” which means “Love” – will she be loved by the Croatian audience?

Mia Negovetić – Forgive Me (Oprosti)

Mia Negovetić returns for her third appearance at Dora, this time she has teamed up with Andreas Stone Johansson, Denniz Jamm, Laurell Barker to co-write Forgive Me (Oprosti) – third time lucky for Mia?

Marko Bošnjak – Moli za nas

At just 18 years old, Marko has already had an incredible start to his professional career. The Bosnian born star won the second series of the Serbian competition “Pinkove Zvezdice” – he will be hoping the winning streak continues at Dora.

Jessa – My Next Mistake

Jessa (Jessica Atlić McColgan) is a Croatian singer with Irish roots, she won the series “Zvijezde” and will compete at Dora 2022 with “My Next Mistake”

Zdenka Kovačiček- Stay On The Bright Side

Zdenka Kovačiček is a veteran performer and respected jazz vocalist, as one of the most notable performers in Croatia, her song “Stay On The Bright Side” may have its fans. Only time will tell…

Tina Vukov – Hideout

Hailing from Rijeka, Tina Vukov is no stranger to Dora, with her best result in 2006 when she placed third in the final with “Il treno per Genova” – She’ll participate this time with “Hideout” her bid for Turin.

Roko Vušković – Malo kasnije

Roko Vušković is a pop singer and multi-instrumentalist from Samobor, who makes his debut appearance at Dora 2022 with the self-written track “Malo Kasnije”

Bernarda – Here For Love

Swiss-born singer Bernarda returns to Dora following her appearance at the competition last year with the (well known…) Borislav Milanov produced track “Colors” which placed 7th – no stranger to the competition she returns for her third appearance with “Here For Love” – can she go all the way?

Eric Vidović – I Found You

Eric Vidović first gained attention as a contestant on the Croatian version of The Voice, although he was eliminated before the battle rounds, luck was on his side. He was snapped up by Universal Music Croatia in 2020. He competed in Dora 2021 with “Reci Mi” which placed tenth. He will be hoping to improve his placing this time around.

ToMa – In The Darkness

Bosnian born ToMa also returns for a second time at Dora following his debut appearance in 2021 with “Ocean of Love” which placed sixth, this became his first single to chart in Croatia. Will “In The Darkness” go further?

Elis Lovrić – No War

Elis Lovrić returns to Dora following two previous participations, in 2019 with “All I Really Want” and in 2020 with “Jušto” – competing once again, she will perform “No War” – one could argue that there is no bloodbath in Dora this year…

Ella Orešković – If You Walk Away

Ella Orešković is a Canadian born singer, perhaps best known to Croatian’s as the daughter of former prime minister Tihomir Orešković, she participated in Dora last year with the track “Come This Way” which placed ninth. This time she will be trying her luck with “If You Walk Away” – does a better result await?

Tia – Voli me do neba

Tia is a relative newcomer to the Croatian music industry, last year she released her debut single, So no doubt her Dora appearance will be a pivotal moment in her career, “Voli me do neba” has all the ingredients to be one to watch this evening.

Mia Dimšić – Guilty Pleasure

Mia is an award-winning artist with several chart-topping singles and albums to her name. By profile alone, she is one to watch out for this evening. She will compete with “Guilty Pleasure” – will he regional success be enough to take her all the way to Turin?
