🇫🇷: C’est Vous Qui Décidez to return as the French Selection in 2023

Who will be France’s entry for 2023?

It’s given us ‘Voilà’ and ‘Fulenn’, now C’est Vous Qui Décidez is set to return for a third year in order to select the French entry for Eurovision 2023.

After a successful first run in 2021, resulting in a 2nd place at Eurovision for Barbara Praví – France’s best placing in the contest since 1991, C’est Vous Qui Décidez returned in 2022, this time producing fan favourite ‘Fulenn’ by Alvan & Ahez. Despite coming 24th, the song brought Breton to the contest for the first time in 26 years, and showed off a side of French Music that we hadn’t seen from France’s previous attempts at national selections or internal selections.

Now, France Télévisions have confirmed that the national final will once again go ahead in order to select the next song France will enter to the contest in 2023. It is unknown as of now (July 2022) when submissions will open, and the official date for the show is yet to be announced.

C’ést Vous Qui Décidez has been a popular national final with fans, and has introduced viewers to new music from French artists, and has given them a platform to showcase their music to a wider audience.
