Another week in the Eurovision season has come and gone and we’re getting closer to the full 41 songs.
Latvia ๐ฑ๐ป – Supernova Final โญ
Citi Zeni are off to Turin!
Last night in Latvia, the final of Supernova was won by Citi Zeni with their song ‘Eat Your Salad’. They hope to bring better success than Latvia’s last place in 2021 and be the first Latvian entry to qualify since Justs in 2016.
Lithuania ๐ฑ๐น – Pabandom iลก naujo Final โญ
Monika Liu with Sentimentai
Monika Lui took victory with her song ‘Sentimentai’ last night whereshe received the maximum number of points possible with a 12 coming from both the public televote and the jury. You can listen to her song here.
Estonia ๐ช๐ช – Eesti Laul Final โญ
Stefan wins with ‘Hope’
Stefan was chosen by Estonia to represent them in Turin with his song ‘Hope’. It is hoped he will return them to the final after being absent for last year. You can listen to ‘Hope’ here.
Ukraine ๐บ๐ฆ – Vidbir Final โญ
Ukraine selects Alina Pash
Alina Pash was selected with the song ‘Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors’ last night in Vidbir. She is hoping to keep up the recent success of Ukraine in the contest and you can listen to her song here.
Norway ๐ณ๐ด – MGP Last Chance
Maria Mohn wins MGP Last Chance
There was one more ticket left for the MGP final and it was Maria Mohn that took it with her song ‘Fly’ beating three other acts. There was also a guest performance from Anna-Lisa Kumoji who is already qualified for the final.
Sweden ๐ธ๐ช – Melodifestivalen Heat 2
Liamoo and John Lundvik go DTF
Last night the second heat of Melodifestivalen took place which saw seven more acts fight for the songbird trophy. It was Liamoo with ‘Bluffin’ and John Lundvik with ‘Song’ who went straight to the final. Alvaro Estrella and Tone Sekelius went to the semi final and will have one more chance to make it to the final.
Slovenia ๐ธ๐ฎ – EMA Semi Final 2
EMA Final lineup complete
Guลกti feat. Leyre, Leya Leanne, LPS, Anabel, BQL and Hauptman all qualified for the final last night and will join 6 other acts in the EMA final on the 19th of February. They hope to bring Slovenia back to the final after a 1 year absence.
Romania ๐ท๐ด – Selecศia Naศionalฤ Semi Final
10 acts go though
Last night in Romania 20 acts got whittled down to 10 in a jury picked selection. The final will take place on the 5th of March where Romania will select their entry for Turin.
Austria ๐ฆ๐น – Artist Selection
LUM!X and Pia Maria collab with “Halo”
Austrian DJ LUM!X has been selected with the song “Halo” which will be released in March. Pia Maria will provide vocals for the song and you can read more about them in our article.
